Room Parents
Previously known as classroom coordinators, room parents play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in the classroom. They serve as a liaison between the classroom and parent community and play an important role in communicating with parents regarding classroom and school wide events.
Room parents may also assist with soliciting help from parents with art, reading, math, photocopying and special classroom activities.
As a team, room parents work together to organize staff appreciation events throughout the year to acknowledge the dedication and efforts of our EDS staff.
