Project Cornerstone: ABC Reader Program
The Asset Building Champion (ABC) Program is part of YMCA’s Project Cornerstone, whose mission is to build positive relationships, opportunities, values, and skills— known collectively as “developmental assets”—that provide the foundation for a healthy, successful future for our youth.
ABC Readers are parent volunteers who visit classes each month to help K-5 students develop important Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) skills, such as inclusion, diversity, tolerance, problem solving, respect, and conflict resolution. This is a fantastic way to support our Huskies and help them grow into confident and caring individuals!!
